Gods, Demons and Other Immortals of Sumer
Unfortunately, there is no single corpus of mythology that explains the gods, demons and other immortals of Sumeria, which includes the lands of Sumer, Akkad, Asshur, Warum, Elam and Dilmun. I have therefore quoted from selected mythologies and have attempted to indicate other traditions, where they existed.
My own assumptions, on which my stories are based, are delineated by *[ ....... ]*
Immortals are alphabetical by initial letter of name.

Mythological Background
