Current Political Maps of Iraq

This is a set of three maps reflecting current politial conditions.

The first map is a detailed map of Iraq showing boundaries and names of the provinces, including the provincial capitals.  This map also shows the principal rivers, roads and railroads.

The second map shows Iraq's location in the mideast and the principal highways linking it with its neighbors.

The third map of Iraq shows the original northern and southern 'no-fly zones' established in 1991 after the Gulf War and the subsequent extension in 1996 of the sourthern no-fly zone from 32º north latitude to 33º.

There are also links to other maps of Iraq.
